Created for Transwa with Moonsail and Sundeck, this illustration was part of a campaign celebrating the return of the Australind rail line and inviting the public to help name one of the new trains.

The artwork follows the railway as it stretches into the distance, cutting through a landscape that feels unmistakably Western Australian. With no train in sight, the focus was on the journey itself and the sense of anticipation that comes with it.

One of my favourite parts of working on this piece was exploring perspective and depth. The sweeping railway line naturally pulls your eye through the image, while the bright yellow and blue palette captures the warmth and openness of the WA landscape.
